"Had multi component knee surgery and Joe helped me actually get me to a point where I'm doing MORE after my surgery than I was doing BEFORE I injured it. He's got a great methodical approach to treatment plan. He knows how to explain it at whichever level you feel comfortable with (less scientific vs. more scientific), and is always approachable. Strong level of creativity in how he tailors your plan and I can say for sure that I'm stronger now than I was before my injury. Gave me something to look forward to during my week, never dreaded it, and he knew when I was struggling without benefit and would make the decision to pull it back (as well as some days where we would push it harder!).
